She was predeceased by: her parents, Florentino Garcia and Lucia F. Garcia. She is survived by: her siblings, Elvia Gritzner (Randal), Thelma Salinas (Adrian), Corina Garcia and Regino Garcia (Belia); her niece Taylor Gritzner; and her nephew Mario Gritzner. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Sun Valley Rehab and Nursing Home in Harlingen, Diabetes Association, or Kidney Association.
