He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustav Brast and Eliza Brast. He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Brast of Sealy and Kelly Brast (Troy) of Sealy; his brother Gene Brast (Ann) of Nacogdoches; his grandchildren, Kathryn Ettayebi of Sealy and Kiersten Brast of Durango, CO; and his great grandchildren, Victoria, Esteban, Liliana of Sealy and Kimberly of Durango, CO. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
