Tillie May Maler Sell Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tillie May Maler Sell of Sealy, Texas, who passed away on April 1, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Maler and Mary "Marie" Surovik Maler; her husband Allen E. Sell; her parents-in-law, Herman and Sophie Sell; her siblings, Edward Maler, Gladys Frank and Doris Brast; her siblings-in-law, Winnie Ola Davis, Adeline Perry, Herbert Frank, Clarence Merritt, William Brast, Johnny Davis and Albert Perry; and her nephews, Tony Frank, Tommy Smith, Al Henry and Ralph PAtrin.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara (Bill Harrison), David (Roxie Sell), Joyce (Darrell Giese), Carolyn (Robert Rash) and James "Peanut" (Jheri Sell); and her pet Charlie Brown. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church of Wallis (218 Rogers St, Wallis, TX 77485). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at the Wallis City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to St. John Lutheran, Wallis; Wallis American Legion Auxiliary Unit #200, or a charity of your choice in Tillie's memory.
