She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Clyde Kitchen and Laura Brochet Kitchen; her husband Thomas H. George, Jr.; and her brothers, Edgar Kitchen and Anthony Kitchen.
She is survived by: her sister Lora Mae McCarthy; her brother-in-law Michael McCarthy; and her stepchildren, Thomas H. George III, Richard L. George (Jan) and Barbara L. George Sence. She is also survived by five granddaughters, two great-grandchildren and her nieces and nephews and their spouses.
Marie has requested no flowers and asks that instead they be sent to someone you love.
