He was predeceased by: his former wife Betty Jo Strauss; his parents, Robert Strauss and Mary Strauss (Thomsen); and his grandsons, Kurt and Jake Anders.
He is survived by: his spouse Miss Betty Jo Peters; his children, Patsy Anders (James) of Weimer, Peggy Strauss of Sealy and Perry Strauss (Frances) of Sealy; and his grandchildren, Clint Anders (Sophie), Jamie Lindsey (Garrett) and Ryan Strauss. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren.
