With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melvin Ray Klatt Sr. of Sealy, Texas, who passed away on August 23, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father A. R. Klatt; his brothers, Dennis Klatt and Floyd Klatt; his stepparents, Marvin Crawford and Mary Klatt; and his granddaughters, Katie Fowler and Piper Klatt.
He is survived by: his wife Johnnie Klatt; his sister Joanie Griffin (Johnny); his children, Melvin Klatt, Jr. (Jackie), Debbie Hansen (Eric), Greg Klatt (Lynn), Cassandra Pospichal (Kurt), Christel Karl (Donald) and Ronnie Klatt (Cindy Klatt); his grandchildren, Jennie Klatt (Colby Smith), Madison Young (Matt), Christa Hansen, Casey Hansen, Clayton Hansen, Kaley Harrington (Colton), Ryan Sullivan, Charity Karl, Aaron Karl, Ryan Fowler (Ashley) and Bella Klatt; and his great grandchildren, Everleigh Behnen, Ellie Behnen, Croix Behnen, Keaton Harrington, Kamdynn Harrington, Braxton Fowler, Adeline Fowler and Kinsley Bartholomew. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
