It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laurence Austin (Sealy, Texas), born in Bloomington, Illinois, who passed away on September 4, 2019, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Longfield Austin and Catherine Ruth Austin (Morgan); his siblings, Julian Austin and Nina; his daughter Leigh Diane; and his granddaughter Leanna Rose.
He is survived by: his wife Carlene Austin of Sealy; his children, Christine Hooker of Jenison, Sondra Merrell (Charles) of Von Ormy, Rachel Hindahl of Katy, Chassidy Cassidy of Bloomington, Lindsey Alvarez (Zeke) of Sealy, Jessica Austin of Sealy, Tiara Austin of Sealy, Texas, Jeff Martin (Susan) of Bloomington, Michael Austin of San Antonio, Robert Wayne Austin of Sealy and Dakota Austin (Kaitlyn) of Sealy, Texas; his grandchildren, Ryan, Brandon, Marissa, Ashley, Colton, Riley, Brody, Sophia, Lyndon, Aiden, Elizar, Isaac, Elijah, Sheena and Shelby; his great grandchildren, Everett, Savannah, Easton, Weston, Natalie Emmett, Eli, Korie and Colton; and his sisters, Laura Hoffman of Arizona, Val Shepherd (Russell) of West Virginia and Elizabeth Austin of Montana. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and dear friends.
