It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kim Renee Schmidt of Sealy, Texas, born in Bellville, Texas, who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Joyce Macat Schmidt; and her granddaughter Kynlee Luetge. She is survived by: her father Stanley Schmidt of Lampasas; her children, Courtney Lewis of The Woodlands, Ginger Lichtental (Tom) of Houston, Gary Karl Luetge (Ashley) of Katy, Gabrielle Mock (Jason) of Pelham and Kriss Otey of Sealy; her stepchildren, Robert Otey (Veronica) and Brittany Johnson (Anahuac); her grandchildren, Ashton Harrell, Athyn Garza, Aubrey Garza, Axel Garza, Brinlee Luetge, Tynslee Luetge and Branson Luetge; and her siblings, Tracy Zapalac (El Paso), Billy Pfeffer (Lori), Chris Schmidt (Bridgett), Waller and Jason Schmidt. She is also survived by numerous other family members and dear friends.
