Joyce Kalinec Obituary
We bid farewell to Joyce Kalinec of Sealy, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 10, 2025 at the age of 82. Joyce touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester Vacek and Lillie Vacek; her husband Eugene Kalinec; her parents-in-law, Agnes Heinrich, Louis Kalinec and Gus Heinrich; her children, Eugene Kalinec and Mary Kalinec; and her son-in-law Jesse Wade King.
She is survived by: her brothers, Richard (Jonell) and James (Linda); and her children, Mark Kalinec, Jude Kalinec, Paul Kalinec, John Kalinec (Tina), Teresa Kalinec (Albert Ramirez), Janice Kalinec (Richard Resendez), Odilia Kalinec (Maurice Murshed), Michelle King and Annette Woods (Matt). She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Knesek Family Funeral Chapel - Sealy - License (768 4th St, Sealy, TX 77474). A rosary was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (600 4th St, Sealy, TX 77474). An entombment was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at the St. Michael Catholic Cemetery.
