He was predeceased by: his parents, Dionicio Gomez and Guadalupe Alvarez Gomez; and his wife Juanita Tejeda. He is survived by: his son Jason Gomez of Sealy; his grandson Anthony Cesar Gomez of Katy; and his nieces and nephews, Stephanie Negrete, Ariel Gomez, Ashley Hewson, Ryan, Tara Reibenstein, Sarah Janszen, Taylor Cox, Blake Mieth, Evan Mieth, Olivia Johnson, Aiden Johnson and Kallie Kloss.
