It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnnie Fountain of Sealy, Texas, who passed away on February 19, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Fountain and Ola May Fountain; and his brothers, Clettis "Moon" Fountain, Ernest "Dude" Fountain and Clifford "Tip" Fountain.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Ann Zapalac of Sealy; his children, Kimberly LaShalle Rychlik (Garrett) of Cypress and Shannon Le'Nae (Everett Bubak) of Sealy; his grandchildren, Jordan, Austin Rychlik of Cypress, Cody Manna, Emerson Bubak of Sealy, Aaron Bubak of Mont Belvieu, TX., Tiger Football and Restaurant; his siblings, Larry Joe Fountain of Starks, LA. and Sharon Rose Gore of Bridge City; and his parents-in-law, Lawrence, Jeanette Drews of Brenham, Gregg, Debra Zook of Orchard, David, Theresa Zapalac of Houston, James, Laverne Zapalac of New Ulm, Dennis, Janette Zapalac of Livingston and Johnny Steve Zapalac of Katy. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, extended family and the many friends.
