He was predeceased by: his parents, Andres, Sr. Cevallos and Carolina Garcia Cevallos; and his brother Andres Cevallos, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Lala Cevallos of Sealy; his children, Roxanne (Bobby) of North Pole, Nicole Cevallos (Fernando Lopez) of Sealy, Monica May of Bellville, Joe Cevallos, Jr. (Martha) of Sealy, Josh Cevallos of Sealy and Noel Cevallos of Sealy; and his siblings, Chela Herndon (Duane), Mary Harrell (Daniel Shimek), Carrie Vitek (Dwayne), Freddie Cevallos (Renea) and Rosa Cevallos. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
