He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Goebel and Bonnie Sternberg Goebel; his stepfather Charles Ulrich; and his brother John Ulrich. He is survived by: his children, Ulrich Goebel (Carly) of Sealy, Garen Goebel of Sealy, Bryn Goebel of Sealy, Amiel King (John) of Katy, Amrah Sanchez of Katy and Abigail Goebel of Katy; and his sisters, Sue Gregorcyk and Mary Jackson. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
