He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Minyard and Inez Minyard. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Minyard; his daughter Melissa Raeke (Reese); his stepson Colton Kaminski (Stacey); his grandchildren, Gunner, Ellie, Wade Raeke, Maryn and Jace Kaminski; his brothers, Scott (Debbie), Bill (Karen) and Tom (Mechele); his nieces, Jessa (Jason) and Kelsey; and his nephew Jake.

“James and I Chris Watson attended the A-84 DPS class. All thru school we laughed and joked around. He was one of the funniest, always having some comment that made me laugh. He helped me make it through to graduation. I’m very saddened of hearing of his passing. God bless your family. Retired State Trooper Chris Watson.”
