It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Liberat Berckenhoff of Sealy, Texas, born in Moulton, Texas, who passed away on November 5, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Liberat "Lee" Berckenhoff and Lillie Berckenhoff; and his brother Leroy Berckenhoff. He is survived by: his wife Lorene Berckenhoff; his sons, Stephen (Tina Berckenhoff) and Mike (Tami Berckenhoff); his grandchildren, Holly Berckenhoff of Virginia Beach, James Berckenhoff (Caylee) of Katy, Brian Berckenhoff (Kelsey) of Katy, Wyatt Berckenhoff of Nacogdoches and Colton Berckenhoff of College Station; his great grandchild Caden Berckenhoff of Katy; and his siblings, Robert Berckenhoff (Annie Mae) of Moulton, Edith Rerich of Weimar, Vickie Netardus (Jim) of Shiner and Pete (Jerilene) of Sealy.
