With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edith Rosalie Zapalac of Sealy, Texas, born in East Bernard, Texas, who passed away on April 19, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Vecera and Clement Vecera; her husband Willie P.; and her siblings, Eleanor, Lily, Clem and Adolph.
She is survived by: her children, Yvonne Zapalac and Danny Zapalac (Susan); her siblings, Bea Stezel, Judy Rosentreter, Marianne Light and Victor Vecera; her granddaughters, Tracie (Chad), Amy (Jason) and Katie (Wes); her great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Emma, Emersyn, Abigail, Stephen, Joseph, Cheyenne, Logan, Landen and Hayley; and her great great grandchildren, Weston and Garrett. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sealy.
