He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Lemuel Simmons and Madge Mary Simmons. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Kuhn Simmons; and his children, Donna Renee Newton, Pamela Yvonne Farabee and Christopher Ryan Simmons. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
