It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Robert Gustus of Sealy, Texas, who passed away on May 23, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Charles Robert Gustus, Sr.; his stepparents, Mae and Alwilda Pheneger Pattengale; his siblings, John William Pattengale and Carol Gustus Tague; and his grandson Preston Kutach.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Travis Gustus; his son Gregory Todd Gustus; his daughter-in-law Christina of Winder, GA; his sons, Randy Scott Gustus of Rock Island, TX and Rodney Alan Gustus; his daughter-in-law Bobbie Lynn of Columbus, TX; his daughters, Rikki Leigh Vacek (Darren), Brenda Keller and Debbie Morris (Valerie Crane); his grandchildren, Levi Jasper Gustus, Bailey Rae Gustus, Blayne Christopher Writer, Reid Darren Vacek, Cale Travis Vacek, Tate Ethan Vacek and Jordan Wesley Kutach; his great grandchild Zoey Lynne Kutach; his sister Myrna Wolf; his brother-in-law Jim of Attica, IN; his sister Marilyn Foster; and his siblings-in-law, John of Williamsport, IN, Linda Buro, Roger of Brenham, TX, Shirley Flisowski of Bellville, TX, Richard Travis, Jr. of Bellville, TX, Gary Travis and Alys of Bellville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
