He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Holub and Elenora Holub (Cook); his daughter Denise Ann Holub; his great grandchild Charlotte Marie Ann Morrell; and his brother Eugene Charles Holub, Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Emily Ann Patek of Shiner; his children, Darrell Holub of San Felipe and Diane Malkowsky (Steven) of Frydek; his granddaughters, Stephanie Morrell (Ryan), Rachell Cook (Chris), Jennifer Holub, Rebecca Slusser (Brenton), Crystal Holub and Stacie Whitehead (Travis); and his sisters, Delores Caka (Victor) and Alice Davis (Jerry). He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church in Frydek.
