He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Phillips and Vera Mae Phillips; and his parents-in-law, Louise and Harold "Kuch" Kuchara. He is survived by: his wife Deanna Phillips; his daughters, Nancy LeJeune (Jay) and Kimberly Pekar (Joey); his grandchildren, Ryan Strauss of Sealy and Hannah Pekar of San Marcos; his sister-in-law Bonnie Smith (Ronnie) of Sealy; his niece Kristi Malone (Rodney); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Harley, Harper and Hudson of Ft Worth.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Sealy, Texas.
