He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Willard Rosene and Lola Kneip; his wife Effie Sojak Rosene; his sister Dorothy Moore; his son-in-law Eric Johnson; his daughters, Sherry Pierce (Lindsey), Cathy Anderson (Larry) and Christie Johnson; and his grandchildren, Sarah Pierce, Matthew Anderson, Christopher Anderson (Mary), Rory Johnson (Alexis) and Eric Johnson, Jr.. He was also cherished by cousins, nieces and nephews and numerous friends.
