He is survived by: his parents, Shawn Brightwell and Dwight Brightwell of Sealy; his sibling Avery Stephens; his brother-in-law Trent Stephens of Houston; and his nephew Trent. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, cousins, and tremendous friends.
