He is survived by: his wife Ines Gomes of Sealy; his sons, Carlos Gomes of West Greenwich, RI, Jorge Gomes of Rehoboth, MA and Marco Paul Gomes of Bristol, RI; and his siblings, Manuel Gomes of Portugal and Celcia Gomes of Portugal. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
