He was predeceased by: his parents, Navora Garza, (Garza) and Rev. Blas Garza, Sr.; his wife Juanita Garza; and his children, Maximo Garza and Sylvianna Esquivel.
He is survived by: his children, Tomas Garza, Jr. of Andrews, Leo Garza of Odessa, Leon Garza of Big Spring, Texas and Josephine Bernal of Seagraves, Texas; and his brothers, Blas Garza, Jr. (Mary) of California and Augustine Garza of Lubbock, Texas. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
