He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thelma Stringer (Bishop) and Odie Stringer; his wife Mary Stringer of Seagraves; his children, Dale Morgan (Cynthia) of Gurdon, Mark Stringer (Emily) of Molton, Johnny Morgan (Laurie) of Denver City, Texas, Misty Briendbauch (Davis) of Denton and Da Nell Black (Kevin) of Austin, Texas; and his siblings, Marvin Stringer (Enid) of Andrews, Donald Stringer, Mildred Spencer of Andrews and Elizabeth Stringer of Roseburg, Oregon. He was also cherished by 20 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
