She was predeceased by: her husband William "Bill" Grayson; her parents, Charlie Cummings and Gaynell Cummings; her son Jimmy McCarty; and her grandson Samuel McCarty.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Hunsucker (Michael), Veda Yvonne McCarty, David McCarty (Tracy) and Teresa Ike (Chibuzor); her grandchildren, Angela McCarty, Joshua McCarty (Zandria), Matthew McCarty, Aubrey Allen, Dezarae'Lopez (John), Steven Schweitzer, Billy McCarty, Carson McCarty, Monica Ashworth (William), Manuel Zarate IV (Dioselina) and Rudy Zarate Sr. (Courtney); her great grandchildren, Tamia, Isaiah, Toriana, Kayla, Kelsey, William, Michael, Cassidy, Zane, Skyla, Presley, Jameson, Colt, Lilly, Cohen, Brandon, Joshua, Karter, Isabel, Zoey, Rudy Jr. and Lucy; and her caregivers, Mildred and Lum Ausbon.
