He was predeceased by: his father Nathan Hill Benton, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Allen; his daughter Annette Benton-Frazier (Jason); his grandchildren, Justine, Alex, Jordyn and Caliann; his daughter Alyssa Benton-Grubbe (Jeff); his grandchildren, Lawrence, Jayla and Chookie; his son Jeffery Benton; his mother Aline Benton; and his siblings, Marilyn WalkingSky (Woolsey), Phillip Benton (Gwen), John Benton (Margaret) and Nancy Smith (John). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary First Baptist Church (2850 E Glen Blvd, Mesquite, TX 75181). A committal service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens (1000 US-175 Frontage Rd, Seagoville, TX 75159).
