She was predeceased by: her parents, Lula Mae and Frank Marion Riggs; her husband Henry B. Hughes; her children, Jack, Jackie Hughes and Cathy J. Hughes; her great grandchild Trey W. Morris; and her siblings, Frank Riggs Jr., Mary MacDonald, Norma Fox, Bobbie Holder, Betty Fraizer and Karen Waxler.

She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Avery of Dallas, TX, Mary Morris of Kemp, TX, Angela Sandidge of Lindale, TX and Julie North of Quinlan, TX; her siblings, Linda White, Sharon Bumpus, Judy Smith, Brenda Riggs, Claudette Stamper, Carl Riggs and Duane Riggs; and her grandson Aaron Hughes. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
