He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry C. Marsh and Rachel Lorene Herndon; his brother Buddy Marsh; and his son J. D. Marsh Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Donna Prine; his daughters, Heather Moore (JJ) and Holli Thomas; his grandchildren, Katlyn, Cheyenne, Austin, Carson, Kara and Luke; his stepchildren, Jori Sawan (Shariff) and Justin Prine (Monique Alvarez); and his siblings, Norma Newsom, Judy Holleman and Larry Dale Marsh. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
