With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Jean Waits (Seagoville, Texas), born in Grand Saline, Texas, who passed away on February 26, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gilbert Waits; and her parents, Floyd Johnson and Linnie Wright Johnson. She is survived by: her sister Celeste McCown of Arlington, Texas; her children, Kathy Waits of Balch Springs, Texas and Rod Waits of Dallas, Texas; her son-in-law Mark Sharp of Dallas, Texas; and her grandchildren, Misty Roton, Brandi Treece, Dusty Wood and Brent Waits. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; and 9 great-great grandchildren.
