She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas Cady; her stepson Hubert Cady; and her siblings, Ernestine Copeland, Earl Copland and R. D. Copeland.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Edwards (Herbert "Shorty") of Seadrift and Douglas "Ricky" Cady (Michelle) of Sweeny; her stepsons, Ronald Cady (Nancy) of Brazoria and Roger Cady (Marilyn) of Seadrift; and her siblings, Elvis Copeland, Lou "Tooter" Hyde and Willie Dean Lancaster of California. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, 25 great great grandchildren and one on the way and numerous nieces and nephews.
