He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Scholes and Myrtice Sanders Scholes; and his children, Amanda Michelle Scholes and Noel Christian Scholes. He is survived by: his wife Donna Beatrice Singletary Scholes; his children, Victoria Angel Scholes, James Terrell Scholes, Jr. (Mireya), Christopher Michael Scholes and Sean Timothy Jacob Scholes; his grandchildren, Justin Hebert, Caine Michael Scholes, Lance Manton, Micha Scholes-Matherne, Carley Beatrice Scholes, Zoiee Anderson, Sean Philip Scholes, Conner Scholes, Ayden James Scholes, Gianna Isabella Scholes, Arturo Marquez and Giovanni Marquez; and his great grandchildren, Isla Rose Matherne and Skylynn Marquez. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
