Geneva Burks Obituary
We bid farewell to Geneva Burks of Seabrook, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 22, 2025 at the age of 94. Geneva touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Floyd and Bethel C. Smith (Bailey); her husband Jerald "TJ" Burks; and her siblings, Geraldine Shrum and Harold Smith (Bud).
She is survived by: her children, Sherri (Peter Verdone Jr.) of Seabrook, TX and Lynn Wayne (Cynthia Burks) of Diamond Barr, CA; and her grandchildren, Nathan Burks, Harrison Burks, Nicole Verdone and Ashley Verdone.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the New Hope Baptist Church West (380 S 42nd St, Duncan, OK 73533).
