He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Covey and Estelle Covey (Sikes); his wife Carolyn Covey (Elvis Presley); and his sister Wilma Wheat. He is survived by: his children, Jolinda Covey, Renee Queen and Michael Covey. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
