It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dawn Elayne Ward in Seabrook, Texas, born in Portsmouth, Virginia, who passed away on October 13, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Dawn Elayne may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Reid and Ann Reid. She is survived by: her husband Brian; her children, Winonah Hoffman and Samuel Ward; her siblings, Sherry Crowson and Shawn Reid; and her grandchildren, Fletcher and Claire Hoffman. She is also survived by numerous family members and friends.
