We are sad to announce that on January 4, 2025, at the age of 61, Wylie Dewayne Brunson Sr. of Scurry, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wylie Devon Brunson and Linda Nell Harper. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Jo; his children, Wylie Dewayne Brunson Jr., Billy Thomas Jump, David Ray Jump (Mellany), Mandy Lea Bowman and Christy Renee Jump (Robert Eric Bartke); his grandfather Santos J Vidales; and his siblings, William Brunson (Ramica), Riley Brunson, Charles Mayo (Chuck), Keith Brunson, Johnny Brunson, Patricia Soto (Kay), Linda Bennet (Douglas) and Shelley Brunson. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Parker-Ashworth Funeral Home (2217 S Washington St, Kaufman, TX 75142). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the College Mound Cemetery (14490 Farm to Market 429, Terrell, TX 75161).
