She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom McWhorter and Ella Lou McWhorter; her husband Roderick Gamble; and her siblings, Maxine McWhorter Ford, Woodrow McWhorter, Frances McWhorter Tucker, Vivian McWhorter Anglin, Evan McWhorter and Glen McWhorter.
She is survived by: her aunt Q. However; her daughters, Janice Berry (Mike) of Conroe and Glenda Anderson (Ronald) of Conroe Texas; her grandsons, Rodney Anderson (Carolyn) of Sugar Land, Texas and Joshua Anderson (Courie) of Houston, Texas; her great grandchildren, Wyatt, Taylor, Jacob and Sophie; and her sister-in-law Mary Lou McWhorter of Scurry. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid restrictions and in following with her wishes, a private burial will be held in Dallas.
