She was predeceased by: her parents, Nellie Higdon (Jolley) and Shelby Higdon; and her son-in-law Randal Allen. She is survived by: her husband Ronnie Carter; her daughters, Deborah Michelle (Rocky Vig) and Angela Leigh Allen; her grandchildren, Brooke (Ian Turner), Emily Vig (Michael Duncan), Tyler Allen, Hannah Allen, Victoria Allen and Joshua Allen; her great grandchildren, Madeline Turner and Gracelyn Turner; her sister Deborah (Charley Taylor); her nephew Charles Taylor, II (Kristen); her niece Crystal (Glynn Tafuro); and her great-nephews, Casper Taylor and Isaac Tafuro.
