It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Eldon Lane of Scroggins, Texas, born in Osage City, Kansas, who passed away on August 23, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Albert and Ila Jean Lane (Russell); his granddaughter Courtney Rae Tennyson; and his siblings, Bruce Lane, Roger Lane, Lee Eldon Lane and Linda Lane.
He is survived by: his former wife Mary Lee Price; his wife Mary Lane of Scroggins, TX; his daughters, Jessica (Chance Seabolt) and Raegan (John Ross) of Mount Vernon, TX; his grandchildren, Kirk, Lindsey Tennyson, Zaccary Buchanan, Dailey Ross and Savannah Ross; his great grandchild Lily Rhea Tennyson; and his siblings, Connie (Bill Emperly), Penny Lane of Topeka, KS, Clara Daniel of Davenport, IA, Ann (Herb Riley), Ruth (Scott Knapp), Tammy (Joe Ryan) and Alvie (Sally Price). He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
