With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth R. Chin (Scotland, Texas), who passed away on July 18, 2018 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Gormley and Mary Gormley; her child Philip E. Gillock; her father-in-law Bok Chong Chin; and her brother-in-law John Chin.
She is survived by: her children, Robina Boyle Gormley and Highland Dancing; her sisters, Mimi and Lye; her husband William F. Chin of Allen; her children, Patrick Gillock (Brigid), Mary Williams (Ben), Lisa Matthews, Roberto, Carol O'Neil (Tom), Kathleen Roe and Tim; her mother-in-law Yuen Kiu Chin; her grandsons, Joseph Matthews, Phillip Matthews, Timothy Roe, Gavin Gillock and Andrew Gillock; her nephew Sam Band; and also, Lye Baynham (David), Mimi Band (Steve), Susan Baynham-Duke, Monica Band and Sam Band. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
