Roy R. Stanley Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 4, 2022, at the age of 74, Roy R. Stanley of Scotland, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Cameron Stanley and Rosie Lee Copeland Stanley. He is survived by: his siblings, Robert Henry "Bobby" Stanley, Willie Melvin "Billy" Stanley, William Lee "Shorty" Stanley, George Edwin Stanley, Norwood Don Stanley, Shirly Ann Stanley-Fairchild and Martha E Stanley-Goyne; his wife Jettie Ann McCowin-Stanley; his daughters, Jamie L Stanley-Glawson (Leonard Grady Glawson II), Melanie Ranae Stanley-Wallace (Gregory Brice Wallace) and Raenette Ann Stanley-Klein (Lance Emil Klein); his grandchildren, Lawton Emil Klein (Bethany), Chrystian Chase Glawson (Lea), Noah Webster Glawson (Landin), Caleb Brice Wallace, Zane Michael Klein and Lela Emma Klein; his great grandchildren, Kara Nicole Hebert, Luna Annabella Glawson and Killian Webster Glawson; and his sisters, Magglene Stanley-Polk and Rose Dale Stanley-Stowe.
He won some of those battles-including overcoming a serious bout of Covid with one lung.
