He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Kram and Erna Kram (Hasse); his wife Irene Kubesch; his son Timothy Kram; his sister Lorene Poppe; and his brother-in-law Ben Poppe.

He is survived by: his children, Larry Kram of Houston, Donna Poehlmann (Mark) of Brenham, Ken Kram (Sheila) of Weimar and Becky Roberts of Weimar; his grandsons, Neil Poehlmann (Marlene) of Belton, Derek Poehlmann (Hilliary) of Brenham, Tyler Poehlmann (Rebecca) of Frisco, Bradley Roberts (Christy) of Weimar, Brandon Roberts of Weimar and Kasey Kram (Kallie) of Granger, Indiana.; and his great grandchildren, Emma, Izzy Poehlmann, Carter, Dylan, Ella Poehlmann, Caitlyn, Brinley Roberts and Liam Kram.
