It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rebecca Virginia Dowdy in Schulenburg, Texas, born in Gainesville, Texas, who passed away on August 10, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Dudenhoeffer and Virginia Dudenhoeffer (Odom); her husband Dan Dowdy; her son Ray Dowdy; and her brothers, Paul and Joe Dudenhoeffer.
She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn Dahse (Howard); and her grandchildren, Aaron Hilscher, Heather Mangum, Justin Dowdy, Natalie Hooker and Reagan Dowdy. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
