She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo J. Schmidt and Dorothy Bludau Schmidt. She is survived by: her husband Ron Petersen; her children, Jeff Petersen (Mittsi) and Jennifer Petersen; her grandsons, Jacob and Fields Petersen; and her siblings, Isabel Litzmann (Larry), Jim Schmidt (Sheila), Donald Schmidt (Jill), Bob Schmidt (Marcy) and Dave Schmidt (Donna). She is also survived by 19 nieces and nephews and their children.
Contributions in memory of Patty can be made to Patty's longtime charity of choice, Joseph's Coat Resale Shop at St. John Vianney Catholic Church or St. Mary Catholic Church- High Hill.
