He is survived by: his wife Rose Cardenas of Schulenburg; his sons, James Cardenas (Brian) of San Antonio, John Cardenas (Kimberley) of Houston and Jesse Cardenas of Schulenburg; and his grandson Tyler of San Marcos. He is also survived by 4 sisters;and 1 brother.
