He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Hartmann of Columbus and Barbara Bayer (Allen) of Schulenburg; his son-in-law Chuck Meyer of Schulenburg; and his siblings, Hilda Henneke of Schulenburg and Joe Pauler of Houston. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family requests donations be made to the St. John Catholic Church or a charity of one's choice.
