He is survived by: his wife Betty Zapalac of Schulenburg; his children, Kimberly Zapalac of La Grange, Paula Self (Scott) of Moulton, Henry Zapalac, Jr. (Megan) of Schulenburg, Donald Zapalac (Melissa) of Schulenburg, Patrick Zapalac (Callene) of La Grange and Paul Zapalac (Amber) of Schulenburg; his siblings, Agnes Koch (Eddie) of Moravia, Julius Zapalac (Edith) of Muldoon, Herman Zapalac (Irene) of Marlin and Michael Zapalac (Jennifer) of La Grange; and his siblings-in-law, Karen Zapalac of New Taiton, Janette Koncaba of Moulton, Eileen Berckenhoff (George) of Schulenburg and Walter Raabe.
The family requests donations be made to: Hospice Brazos Valley; or the American Cancer Society; or High Hill Restoration Fund; or a charity of one's choice.
