He is survived by: his father Johnnie Valchar of Schulenburg; his wife Phyllis Valchar of Schulenburg; his children, Kristy Novick (Marc) of Schulenburg, Kendra Valchar of Schulenburg and Derek Valchar of Schulenburg; and his siblings, Peggy Willbanks of Schulenburg and Robert Valchar of Oakland. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren.
