With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Shelton Brister (Schertz, Texas), who passed away on September 28, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie and Beatrice; and his wife Peggy Jean. He is survived by: his sons, Bill Brister Jr. (Karen), Steven Brister and Michael Brister (Nancy); his brother Don Brister (Jeanette); his grandchildren, Charla (Brister), Salmeron (John), Heather Brister (Junior), Jason Brister and Michael Brister Jr.; his great grandchildren, Angelina Arellano, Trey, Sophie Renteria, Kathryn, Elizabeth and Ian Salmeron; his sister-in-law Beverlye Tafolla; and his nieces, Kim Thomas (Charles), Kathy Lynn, Tami Tafolla and Traci Taylor.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
