He was predeceased by: his parents, Alberto Gutierrez and Aurora Gutierrez (Maria Gutierrez); his sons, Javier Gutierrez and Victor Gutierrez Jr.; and his siblings, Arturo Gutierrez, Alberto Gutierrez Jr., Luis Gutierrez and Anita Perez.
He is survived by: his significant other Maria Gutierrez; his daughters, Thelma Lopez of Corpus Christi and Belinda Gutierrez-Sabatelli of Schertz, Texas; his children-in-law, Jesse Lopez of Corpus Christi, Elva Gutierrez and Shannon Sabatelli of Schertz Texas; his grandchildren, Monica Mendez (John), Ashley Krsak (Jan), Kimberly Gutierrez and Emily Gutierrez; his great grandchildren, Alisa Mendez, Bianca Mendez, Javier Juan Mendez and Shepard Darius Diaz of Corpus Christi, Texas; and his siblings, Lucila Martinez of Laredo Texas, Josefina Garza of Laredo Texas, Aurora Guzman of Laredo Texas and Maria Emilia Trevino. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Church of the good Shepherd building fund or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
